The team at By Your Side Care Management took part in the Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County’s 2nd Annual Influencers in Aging Awards night. Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County is a non-profit organization that helps seniors in the community remain independent by connecting seniors to resources they need. Its volunteers lend a helping hand, often providing assistance with things a friend or neighbor might do, including providing transportation, grocery shopping or by simply being a friendly face that checks in from time to time.
The Influencers in Aging Awards is an annual event which recognizes individuals, groups and programs in Washington County that have made the community a better place for seniors by bringing about positive change. Katie Deprey, Founder and President of By Your Side Care Management, was honored to receive a nomination and the following accolade from a collaborating organization:

Quick to identify challenges and barriers seniors face to receive quality care, Katie’s innate ability to coordinate very necessary resources has gotten many a senior’s life back on track. Coming to the rescue of many seniors who are lost and confused in the system, she has also made the choice to open her services to seniors of every economic background. Her collaborative and caring nature currently finds her working on establishing a network of community senior care providers.”
